d.i.y. bed canopy

hey y'all!

told ya i was gonna start sharing! lol

so my sister's expecting again (yay!)

its another girl! (yay!)

and she asked little ole me to decorate the girls room!

we decided to go with a montessori theme using white, gold, and gray, with splashes of pink and teal throughout the room.

since the girls will be sharing a room, we wanted it to be baby and big girl friendly lol.

i'm not quite finish with the whole room yet, but i just had to share this super cute bed canopy i made for my niece!

would you believe me if i told you it only costed 15 bucks to make?!

i know right!

the prices for these things were outrageous and y'all know i'd rather make it myself anyway.

its fun to me and plus saves money (my fav!)

with a little help from my honey (tall men rock!), it was up in no time!

oh yeah, did i mention, no sewing machine or drill needed?!

this was really easy to make and super fun, plus my niece loves it!

materials used:

hula hoop (dollar tree) $1

sheer curtains (thrifted) $4

clear fisherman string (walmart) $2

screwdriver (home) free

total: $15
