i've been busy, but busy is good!
next month hippE is turning two and what's a better way to celebrate than a hippE styling, aka frugal fashion styling competition?! this is my first ever event and i can't lie, i'm super nervous, excited, and anxious! pray for me y'all!
but yeah, come out and witness some of atlanta's most resourceful and creative fashion stylists compete for a grand prize and bragging rights as the "the frugal fashion stylist of the year"! it's the first annual hippE frugal fashion wars competition! yay!

okay, so i told you guys this post was coming and here it is! i thrift at a lot of different places and try new spots all the time, but i really just wanted to share just a few of my secret treasure spots in and around metro atl. using my previous post, hippEfinds, ten thrifting tips, and this one you are sure to be on your way to becoming a master treasure hunter! ha!
of course there is more to come, but i really just had to put y'all on game right quick so you guys can be looking frugally fly at the first annual hippE frugal fashion wars!
below you'll find all the info you'll need to find the places, contact info, best days to shop, prices, tips and even some of my fav items i found at these places! please note that i altered some of the items for my liking and they were not purchased as shown. you're welcome and i love you! enjoy!

tips: all items in the same category are the same price. they have a few racks of better wear, which are priced individually, but everything else is easy to know the price of! you can tell if they are on sale by the color of the barb on the garment. their prices are great! and they have a dressing room!

prices:
vary (i usually shop for 1/2 off items only, some things can be a bit over priced)
tips: be sure to go early on half off days, it can get a little crazy and overwhelming. dress to try on in front of the mirror, there's no dressing rooms at this location.

vary (i usually shop for 1/2 off items only, some things can be a bit over priced)
tips: go early in the day to avoid long lines. don't hesitate, if you like it, get it! it will be gone when you come back lol. also i love the way they hang their jeans, you can see the sizes without taking them off the hanger! they do have dressing rooms at this location too!

every day - they do not have weekly sales, but their prices are reasonable everyday! their only sales events are for back to school in august and end of winter season sale in march. all clothes are 1/2 off during these events.
prices: everyday prices on clothes are
$2.00ea for pre-teen to adult. (exception: adult dress, suits and specialty marked items)
nb-6t are $1.00ea
shoes $2.00 for children $3.00 for adults,
purses $3.00,
belts $2.00
all books are $1.00
all other items in the store, such as, kitchen, bath, decorative, linens, toys and misc. items are priced as marked.
tips: they have lots of good stuff, but you have to take your time and look, not as organized, but clothes are sorted by size instead of color like most thrift stores. this location doesn't have a dressing room, so dress accordingly.

every wednesday- senior citizens day. 1/2 off if you are 55 or older. some exclusions apply.
sunday- vip customer appreciation day. shop during the week and receive a blue coupon for 1/2 off everything on sunday.

tips: take advantage of the sale days! they have really nice stuff! so worth the drive!

tips: items are scattered and unorganized, but the prices are great, which makes up for that! they don't have a dressing room so dress accordingly.
