"while we try to teach our kids all about life, our kids teach us what life is all about."
alarm goes off at 6:45am, snooze until 7:00am
second alarm goes off at 7:00am, snooze until 7:18
finally get up
wash face, brush teeth
go to kitchen to brew coffee and refill tripps' cup
get dressed, change at least 3xs lol, put back on first outfit.
wake up tripp, potty, wash face, brush teeth
dress tripp and hope he likes what i chose (my baby has his own little sense of style already)
make sure he has change of clothes and homework in his back pack (i know right... he's only 2)
debate with tripp on what toys he can take with him
check clock and its 7:48 (yes, all that happens in just 30 minutes)! omg! we're running late!
grab a banana, lunch, coffee, and out the door we go!
daycare then the office, our day has begun!
hippE tuesday y'all!
okay, so my terrific two year old, tripp, is actually the inspiration for today's post! crazy right?! its amazing what we can learn from these little people lol.

you guys may have been able to tell, or maybe not, but i've been extremely busy!
busy with the move, mama-hood, work, life, and my stupid sinuses have been going crazy! so imagine not being able to breathe on top of all that! the worst, but im supa mama, so its cool.
now my past few days have been fully loaded and actually, i don't mind, but at the same time your body, mind, and soul can only take so much.
my greatest task at hand is the move. packing and moving was a lot, but don't even get me started on the unpacking! ha!
it's fun and exciting to move into a new place, but it can also be overwhelming.
we are trying to adjust to change, while still maintaining our regularly scheduled programming. (the struggle)
so back to the story, you would be surprised at the things your kids pay attention to, no matter what age they are, or how much you try to shelter them from. apparently, my little one can sense that mama was tired!
so get into this...this morning, as i'm unbuckling him from his car seat, fixing his fro, and greasing up his little face (yes, i'm that mama! i cant stand a crusty face baby, no shade lol).
he moves my hands out the way, looks at me and says, "chill."
i immediately, went into crazy mama mode and was like "what you say to me?? chill??"
he calmly repeated himself, "yeah,chill."

hahaha! i had to laugh! he probably was telling me to chill from messing with his hair and stuff, i'm sure. however, as i was driving to work this morning, the word, chill, kept going through my head and then it hit me! i do need to just chill.
y'all, we get so wrapped up in our day to day lives and whats going on, that we forget to just chill. and believe it or not chilling is important.
when you work really hard, you have to learn how to take the time out to chill and"celebrate" yourself and accomplishments. it can be hard especially when there's a lot that seems like it needs to be done, but its really all not that serious and/or urgent. prioritize and you will be a lot more productive.

on this terrific tuesday, i really just wanted to share my little story with y'all to remind you guys to just chill and relax. we have to force ourselves to do this sometimes or we will burn ourselves out. at that point, we cant' do anything anyway.
until we learn to do this, the stress, anxiety, headaches, moodiness, and the whole feeling of being overwhelmed and overworked will continue. so guys, just chill, God got you.
good vibes only,
hippEmama
